Fertilizer Application Instructions

All Tree Types

Small Trees 10′ or smaller

Manual Application: Mix Ratio is (1) 8oz cup of Liquid Fertilizer to (1) 5 gallon bucket of water. Pour evenly around the Root Zone at the base of the tree, followed up with a deep soaking afterwards for 3-5 minutes. Apply once every 15-30 days

Medium Trees 11′- 25′ height

Manual Application: Mix Ratio is (2) 8oz cup of Liquid Fertilizer to (2) 5 gallon bucket of water. Pour evenly around the Root Zone at the base of the tree, followed up with a deep soaking afterwards for 5-8 minutes. Apply once every 15-30 days

Large Trees 26′ or taller

Manual Application: Mix Ratio is (3-4) 8oz cup of Liquid Fertilizer to (3-4) 5 gallon bucket of water. Pour evenly around the Root Zone at the base of the tree, followed up with a deep soaking afterwards for 15-20 minutes. Apply once every 15-30 days

Fruit Trees

Small Trees 8′ or smaller

Medium Trees 9′-12′ height

Large Trees 12′ or taller

Palms All Types

Small – Medium

Manual Application: Mix Ratio is (1) 8oz cup of Liquid Fertilizer to (1) 5 gallon bucket of water. Pour evenly around the Root Zone at the base of the palm, followed up with a deep soaking afterwards for 3 minutes. Apply once every 30 days.

Large

Manual Application: Mix Ratio is (2) 8oz cup of Liquid Fertilizer to (2) 5 gallon bucket of water. Pour evenly around the Root Zone at the base of the palm, followed up with a deep soaking afterwards for 5 minutes. Apply once every 30 days

Queen Palms

Small 7′ or smaller**

Manual Application: Mix Ratio is (1) 8oz cup of Liquid Fertilizer to (1) 5 gallon bucket of water. Pour evenly around the Root Zone at the base of the palm. Do not follow up with a soaking afterwards. Apply once every 30 days.

Medium to Large**

**Highly Recommend to apply Superfeed’s Crown Treatment once every 90 days. Apply by pouring directly into the heart of the Queen Palm. The fertilizer may drain down the trunk of the Palm, if so spray off any access drainage on the trunk. If left unsprayed the fertilizer may cause staining.

Queen Palm Treatment

Apply by pouring the 12 ounce bottle of high concentrate treatment directly into the heart of the palm, this is where all new frond growth starts. A healthy Queen Palm should filter through resulting in the product draining down the palm trunk, if this occurs simply spray off the access drainage from the trunk otherwise it may cause temporary staining to the trunk. If the product does not drain this is a sign of an ailing Queen Palm and you may need to consult a certified arborist for diagnosis.

Plants & Shrubs

Manual Application: Mix Ratio is (1) 8oz cup of Liquid Fertilizer to (1) 5 gallon bucket of water. Feeds up to 3 plants. Pour evenly around the Root Zone at the base of the plant, followed up with a deep soaking afterwards for 2 minutes. Apply once every 15-30 days

Veggies

Manual Application: Mix Ratio is (1) 8oz cup of Liquid Fertilizer to (1) 5 gallon bucket of water. Feeds up to 5 plants. Pour evenly around the Root Zone at the base of the plant. Apply once every 15-30 days

Newly Planted Trees, Palms, & Plants

Manual Application: Mix Ratio is (1) 8oz cup of Liquid Fertilizer to (1) 5 gallon bucket of water. Feeds up to (5) plants or (3) 15 gallon trees. Pour evenly around the Root Zone at the base of the plant or tree, followed up with a deep soaking afterwards for 1-2 minutes. Apply once every 15 days

Grass & Turf

1 Quart feeds up to 600 square feet of grass or turf. Apply evenly over the surface area and follow up with a 20-30 minute evenly applied deep soaking. Apply every 15-30 days
